The million dollar question for any property for a commuter is how long the walk to the station is.
First there is the problem of getting an honest answer – estate agents have a very poor sense of the space/time continuum – either that or they just plain lie all the time (discuss).
My other problem is I can’t say how long from the station I am happy to be living. What is the correct answer to this question?
The reality is it’s a combination of how long is the walk from the station to home, how pleasant is the walk back and how lovely is the property I am undertaking this trek for.
Unfortunately I think it is going to be trial-by-error on this one – I’ll know the answer when I have tried it.
