After over three months of searching, we’ve finally found a place to rent in Brighton.
I don’t know what was going on with the rental market but we were only seeing one or two places worth looking at for our needs come on each week. It was very slow going – and we were starting to get a little desparate.
For some bizarre reason, I’m guessing fate, the only places suiting our needs were coming up in the area immediately around where my mother-in-law lives. Now we’ve finally settled on a place just 30 seconds walk from my wife’s mother – interesting!
We had seen this place and were not 100% delighted with the interior, but the landlords have agreed to modernise the house a little and add some new appliances, which will make it a little better. The kitchen is still very dated in style but it is a rental after all and it’s not forever. That and the fact that I do not want to miss the summer in Brighton.
Really excited – this is really happening now.
