We’ve had incredible weather since we moved to Brighton – it’s really shaping up to best the best summer in south east England in at least ten years.
I love how Brighton is so accommodating of the barbeque. In the large public parks, there are barbeque stands provided by the local council – large blocks of wood on which you can place your barbeque.
When I was living in London we didn’t have an outside space. Even those in our apartment complex who did have a tiny balcony were not allowed to have a bbq, as it was in contravention of the leasehold.
Public places are no more accommodating of barbecues in London – most of them do not allow bbqs at all.
Having spent six years living somewhere without a barbecue, I’m making up for lost time, having purchase my kettle style charcoal barbecue, I’m already learning my marinades and trying all sorts of food on the bbq!
